From 1st January 2006 New food hygiene legislation applies in the U.K which affects all food businesses such as caterers and retailers.
M. Lewis Ice Cream keeps documented records to enable us to run its due-diligence in line with its working H.A.C.C.P. In order to do this we carried our risk assessment which high lights any risk and how it is to be controlled. During our assessment we analysed our operations and implemented controls designed to reduce or eliminate food safety hazards by a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point H.A.C.C.P plan.
We
are committed to the implementation and maintenance of
this H.A.C.C.P plan, which along with our risk
assessment is reviewed periodically which ensures it is
up to date.
